I took this on my birthday; shot from the hip and in my opinion one of my most 'satisfying' shots.

This is one I recently took in Thailand.
I almost didn't make the shot, since my attention was on the train that was in the opposite direction. Luckily my fiancee pointed out the boy to me, so I had just enough time to take a few snaps.

I'm really happy with these at the moment, some glitter droplet and feather shots I got. :D

Wow a hell of a lot of amazing shots in here! :D

It could be better (400mm was a bit too long) but this is my favorite. This and one other photo from this day made it into Volume 3 of the POTN book so I would say that was a good day of shooting.

Wow, all it needs is a suicidal surfer in there :p:lol:

I hope you don't mind, but I picked 2.

#1. This was the first day that Ryan was extubated (breathing tube removed). He almost died, so any picture we have of Ryan is a little special.

#2. I just love this shot. We were at The Wilds in Zanesville, OH. Ryan and I were waiting on the rest of the group. I had my 40D and 85 1.8. I called Ryan's name and he gave me this look and I snapped this shot. This was totally impromptu.

This is my favorite shot (I think) of two young sisters taken in Peru last year. They were the sweetest girls but were pretty heavily abused by both their father and mother in a poor village in the Amazon where there is really no services available to the multitude of kids in the same situation.

I was quite pleased how this came out, and, although it might be because of my experience while taking this (and other pics that day) it just reminds me of a peaceful place.
