Hiding sort of yeah!! I had done some construction work on Sunset Rd a few years back when Bush visited so I had an idea of the routine.
I pulled in a parking lot about 1.5hrs before touch down. Just sat there listening to the radio. Tripod and ladder ready to go but laid down in the back. Once they closed the road, about 15mins later I could see the landing lights coming(all other air traffic stopped about 30mins beforehand). I jumped out and setup. Took pics, headed home, all in about 5mins or so.
I saw Secret Services vehicles(??) racing by well over 100mph with lights and sirens going but none of them stopped.

That's some funny stuff right there! Excellent planning. Lol! Birdman thought he was going to scare me off. I was about ready to call the cops on him!
I just kept shooting while he fired at me. I don't know how may rounds he fired off, but it was enough to know he wasn't trying to run birds off.

One more with the Wynn, Pallazzo in the background. The whole motorcade driving off!!

great shot! and since you brought it up in your OP, I find it ludicrous that our president is flying everywhere for crap like this.

that's such an awesome looking plane. Id like to see it in person too

Somehow, 'Greyhound One' just doesn't have the same 'ring' to it, lol...

I could not get any good Vegas background with the tall fence and long distance to the plane!!

This is one hell of a shot, excellent photography.

Awesome shot. If the gear and flaps were up in the first one it would almost look like an air to air with the clouds in the back ground.

Not as many as you would think. Plan is to keep the bad guys away from the jet so the weapons on board do not have to be deployed.

BTW, fantastic shot! That is one of the best photos of the jet that I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

Apparently the POTUS is a POTN fan. He flew to JFK today and instead of taking the VC25 - C 32 combo, He took three C-20's. First time in my nine years at ADW that I've seen a flight to New York that wasn't on the VC-25. Hmmm, wonder if our photo op last month had anything to do with it...
