Here are a couple of the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge taken from Yerba Buena Island. Both taken with a 40D, 70-200 2.8L.

Sorry I sure dont, Thats next on the agenda the next time Im up there. We stayed at the hotel right next to the bridge, a while back, but the weather was so bad I didnt want to get the camera out in it.(rain and wind)

IIRC that's the Embassy Suites on Congress.

Walking distance to 6th st and all the parties.
Yeah, I was there, but didn't have a camera with me. It was a business trip (and the last time I went anywhere without my camera).

Aren't those taken from the "forbidden" spot? ;)

I keep itching to go there, and just park my car at the gate that says "No Parking" and chance it.
I'd much rather do it when I have someone to watch my back, and vice versa.

I didn't see any signs limiting access from when I was shooting. But I did see other such signs in other places on the Island. I was at the spot when these were shot for about 20 minutes and no one tried to shoo me off.

If you don't mind, give me a shout (if and) when you are going to go back. :p
I'm about 30 min away from Treasure Island (barring traffic).

I drove down to an old bridge that hasnt been used in about 30 years today. I havent been down there in 5 or 6 years or more. Sad to say, its now been fenced off with no trespassing signs and the closest I could get was from the bridge beside it. Im not happy with my shots but here is what I got. You just dont get the same feeling as when you are standing right there with it. And Im not that good with editing yet so my colors just dont feel right to me

The Silver Jubilee Bridge, UK. Connecting the settlements Runcorn and Widnes, the bridge spans the river Mersey.
