Did a few searches and came up empty for what I was looking for. I have called all the local shops and noone has the lens in stock, I plan to buy immediately. Could someone recommend a good online shop to order from both price and vendor quality wise? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!

I have never had a problem with B&H. They will trade out if anything is wrong with the lens. Waiting on just this lens from them now.

If it isn't a vendor that is known to you, please don't forget to check the feedback at: http://www.resellerratings.com/store (external link), before you part with your cc details.

haha, nice plug.

I've bought from Adorama, BH and Amazon with great results although my last Amazon purchase came from another company and I was disappointed with the service.

The OP says we're out of them, in any case....... but I just can't stand to see people get burned by some of the scumbags around when there are at least 3 or 4 decent merchants to choose from.

I actually may end up waiting a few days to pick it up with my wedding and honeymoon coming quickly. So maybe I will keep a close eye and just grab it from you guys... I like the fact that there is someone active here that I can actually talk to about it and what not... not too mention that your prices were the best I have found so far.
