Just bought a 30d...only have cash for 1 lens right now...what should i get?

The tamron 17-50 would be a good choice. If you look hard enough you'll read bad reviews and just about every lens. The 70-200 f/4 would be an excellent choice as well. I think you will definitely see improvement over your previous lenses with those two.

I would go with the 17-50 Tam. It is a great lens for the price. I have one for sale:)

yeah...imma just pull the trigger on the tam 17-50...i reread a lot of reviews and it seems to be the best bang for the buck.

i suppose i'll grab a 70-200 f4L next...unless an is version comes up for sell
