I think that #3 is the best shot, although they are all amazing.

Awesome set. I agree with Jay, the F-16 shots are stunning!

Thank you Sean, glad you liked them!

Heh... same as my 'air show setup'... so I still have a chance... :D

Hehe, the 40D/100-400 combo must work great at airshows if I could even manage to get a few keepers:D. Truthfully, I have kind of a love/hate relationship with my 100-400...sometimes I can't seem to get a keeper with it to save my life, other times they come out great...I think it's my lack of skills more than the lens's inconsistency.

Thank you! The F-16's been my nemesis plane the last couple years, just couldn't seem to get a good shot, I was really happy to have gotten a couple keepers this year already:)

I struggled with the back-lit later when the angels flew I have yet to process any but my angels photos are sharp but the planes are very dark the sky is more colorful than the plane.

Not sure what I did wrong.

Mine are the same way. If you find out how to fix back-lit airshow skies, let me know too:D. That sky was really tricky on Saturday.

Maybe it's because I love the F-16.

#3 is absolutely stunning. #6 is my second favorite.

Thanks Andrew! You may have had the same angle, but I'm sure your shots look better than mine:D. I always enjoy looking at your work.
