Spiders!!!

Found this monster spider crawling up the door jamb yesterday. Haven't looked it up yet for ID, but it was about 4 1/2 inches across the legs. After a few shots, he was put outside in the garden for safe keeping.

I love the third one. I love to do macro but unable to get this close...how did you get this close? What did you use?

The spiders appear truly monstrous with these magnification.

Both look to be males, and probably mature, looking for dates. Did you upload them to the spider's singles site?
