Absolutely fantastic captures! Photo's are very sharp to say the least. Curious, where do these red-eyed tree frogs exist?

Lovely shots...fascinating frog. Not as green as what i used to see on the web. Probably because you used adobeRGB color profile instead of sRGB.

Red Eyed Tree Frogs are found around Belize and other tropical locations. Their sounds are more like shrill screams.

Beautiful pictures.
Mark.

I am not one for over saturated images, but I feel as if these are just a little washed out. I have seen these frogs, even in stressed conditions (pet stores), and the colors are more intense?

Am I missing something?

Thanks for the comments. I think it may be because I took them outside in bright sunshine. I have other sets where the colours appear more intense.
Their colours in this species can vary, some having bright blue and creamy yellow down their sides, some having maroon eyes. It is thought that the food they eat in the wild may affect their colouration too as wild specimens are generally more vividly coloured than captive bred specimens. Mine are captive bred.
There are people who gutload (feed) the insects the frogs eat with various food stuffs such as paprika in order to enhance their colours
At night they can change colour quite dramatically to a very dark green in order to hunt, as shown below - again one of my specimens.

Again two of the same frogs photographed indoors, but colours were slightly enhanced by increasing saturation.
