It has been a while since I posted here... I could put about 400 more shots in here but here are my three as I have to stick to my rules I will try not to just look and participate more. Great stuff guys, and good form in breaking the 3 shot limit with LEGS! ![]() Canon 7D / Canon 40D / Opteka 6.5mm / Sigma 18-35 1.8 / Canon 50mm 1.4 / Canon 50mm 1.8 / Tamron 28-75 2.8 / Tamron 70-300VC

I had the camera fitted with the 70-200. It is the first and only shot when I had the camera orientated to portrait mode. I have sent the pilot an 18"x20" poster. Here is an edited e-mail " My name is Flt Lt ******* and I am a C130J Captain from **** Sqn at RAF *******. The reason I am writing to you is that I was the captain of the C130J that you caught going through the Mach Loop head on at a rather exciting angle of bank. I saw the photo on lowfly.net and read that you would be willing to supply the aircrew involved with a high resolution copy of the photograph. This very kind offer would be much appreciated (along with any others of ZH***** that you got that day if you felt it was appropriate - cheeky, I know!). Congratulations on capturing such a fantastic shot - it is the best that I have seen when 'lurking' on lowfly.net seeing whether I've been photographed on my latest low level sortie. We do always spot you chaps on the valley sides and try to give you a wave when we can. The photo that you took was appreciated by the guys on the Sqn too. I got into work on the morning after you posted the photo on your website and it seemed to be the talk of the Sqn." Perhaps you should send it to Lockheed as a publicity shot for their annual C130J calendar (Please PM me if you want more info but I think that it is worthy of it) - It certainly shows how "we" use Albert. It is such an outstanding capture. I have been on a RDAF C130J in much the same angle (with a tp flying it) and even he was caught by the monitoring system. I am glad that you has such positive feeback from the crew who were flying it. FatAlbert
