Canon makes an extension for it, but that's 75 feet long! The 10 second delay is perfect to hoist, aim, steady, then fire. It takes a few shots sometimes. The lens is so wide, your perspectives can be a challenge but need to be faily good. Shooting blind isn't going to be perfect. Try giving the subject enough area around it to allow cropping. It's more fun when the wind start picking up. Early morning or evening is my favorite time to shoot the aircraft on the ground. Sometimes I'm running around like crazy trying to get as many aircraft photographed before all the activity starts. When I saw this plane, I stopped and gave it more of my attention. I took several angles and loked this one. Just something about it....
