I am fine with keeping it at one week. It keeps the pressure on to get something done in that time frame. Less of photoshop and touch ups and more of original type shots, in that time frame as well.

Hi all. I just posted a shining through image from my 500d /T1i (it wasn't officially listed but it is a Rebel) hope thats OK...
It's been june gloom here in LA so I had to improvise.

By the way. Is there an easy way to export your exif data to a text file so You can just cut and paste in?

I usually use DPP so the exif data shows up on Flickr, however if you process in Photoshop, which I did because the horizon was slightly tilted and can not be corrected in DPP, 'save for the web' to produce a jpg also strips the exif and it will not show on flickr, which has happened with mine.

In that case if you open the pic in DPP, right click on the pic, choose 'info' right at the bottome of the pop up menu, you can then select manually, and copy and paste manually using keyboard shortcuts, which on the pc are ctrl 'C' then ctrl 'V'. I also had the 2 windows open, ie the thread I was posting in, and DPP.

always glad to see new people coming in. guess I need to update the rules for the new rebel. As far as exif goes I use opanda, and just highlight the text and copy and paste.

Thanks of the exif tips. they all seem to work. I just got frustrated when the text file aperture spits out is usless.

btw Mullhawk your avatar is awesome. I am a big HSR fan.

thanks, I have been using this avvy on forums for probably close to 10 years now. I never change it, and that is what it is on any forum I belong to. I don't know why, I guess I am just a creature of habit. Homestar is amazing...

LOL bring it :D. Don't worry, we're not going anywhere ;). I have the feeling this is just starting to take off. Look forward to the day when we have 20 or so submissions to judge.

yeah I would like it to get to a point where it kind of runs itself, but I will make sure that until that happens there is at least one going on. Also remember you can vote even if you don't submit a photo, I know I like to get as many peoples opinions on my photos when I actually get a chance to submit one...

new comp posted, but I posted it as #10 and it should be #11, it doesn't seem as though I can fix it, so I will just get back on track next week, sorry it's been a long week... :D
