Hey everyone, sorry to make a thread about this, it's pretty stupid.
I just got my B800 in (yay!)
But I can't take the black protective cover off?
I don't want to just pull real hard because I'm scared of breaking it.
Please help haha.

I think you can only lock in the Classifieds.

Just to make you feel better, I thought I'd add that the same thing happened to me when I got my first 800. I bought it used with no instructions or anything so I tried just pulling it off and unscrewing it but finally figure out the squeeze tabs at the top. So you're not the only one (though we may be the only two :p)

Only a mod can lock a thread. My post will bring the thread to the top so everyone can enjoy it ;)

Haha yes ZENGHOST, I was like "AHH!!"
But now I have another problem, so I emailed Paul C Buff. I'm sure they can get it worked out for me.

Well, what's the 'other' problem? Inquiring minds want to know. Can't hurt to post in case other's experience the same issue?

I had the same problem for a few minutes. I had used other buff lights that had little screws. I was looking at it and couldn't figure out where the screws had gone. Then I saw the two antennas and thought -- bees -- and then squeezed them.

Everything put together falls apart (great idea for a song?).

Some things sooner rather than later. You are the lucky one designated to deal with that particular light......
