Hi all,
I shot this e-session at the Jonathan Edwards winery in North Stonington, Ct. They were super cool, and easy to work with.

I love #2 and #4!! great shots!

I think the slight tilt in #1 is distracting. I'd prefer a straight shot. Maybe you can straighten that up a bit and see how it looks?

Nice shots! Are you going to remove the finger in #5?

I don't normally comment here as I don't shoot this kind of stuff, but I have to say that the second shot is sexy as hell....Sneaky kind of shot...passionate...suggestive but not overt. Fabulous.

You wedding-y type photogs blow me away.

Nice Set. I really love the post on these. On 5 I would clone out here finger so it looks like the bottle is just balancing.

love it - love how you use different things in your composition and how you frame your shots....

agree with the comment about the tilt on picture 1 - was actually the first thing i noticed even before looking at that comment

Love #2... and, while there have been a few comments about the tilt in #1, I kind of like it.

The world isn't always horizontal or vertical, sometimes (in fact most of the time) we see things at a slight angle. I like it, but I REALLY like #2.

SO, what's the story behind the vineyard as a setting? Is it a favorite place of theirs? Or is it a favorite location of yours?

I agree, #2 and #4 are the best.

#1 -- My eye goes straight to the hand-written word "Port" on the barrel... and takes a long time to return to the subject.

#4 intrigues me. I would have never considered that crop, but it works. I am curious to know how you framed it in the viewfinder (before PP).

2 and 8 rock it for me! Love those!
Plus, I love the use of dead space in # 8.

thanks. as for the vineyard, I didn't know where we were going to do this session. I had been thinking beach and some urban type areas, but they showed up at the studio, and said "let's go to Jonathan Edwards" and I said "ok". I had never shot there, but have wanted to get on their vendor list for a while. The bride's father is a case club member there, so I guess they frequent the vineyard

thanks. #4 is pretty much straight out of camera I think. I like to cut people off at the smile sometimes. Shot with 85 1.2
