Here's a old portrait from more than 35 years back that I scanned recently--never got around to fixing it.

Then one from 2004 taken while I was still working. I haven't changed much from then, except for being retired. It's my avatar because it reminds me of how much fun it was to work from before sunrise to late at night. Actually--I'm not kidding about that. Shooting in an exotic location, interesting people, good food and wine, challenging work--what could be better?

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,

Digitizing in a snap reflective glory

Doesn't seem to have hurt you any. :)

Well, will be in Colorado the 10th through the 16th but have plans to shoot some landscapes and sand dunes, etc. The canyon will have to wait until I can make a long trip out there again. Guess I need a motor home!

Maxis, I've admired your work in other threads - quite amazing.

You look right at home in this element as well. Nice rig!

Happy shooting!

Thank you very much for your words! Keep up the good work!

Here is a better shot of myself using remote shooting on a markIII. Very clumsy. I like to think myself a very serious, purpose driven individual....:)

Affirmation...
