oh - just a little 14 hour drive from here - looks like it was a bit warmer, too ;)

May I ask what you were shooting with? They are very clear pictures. I wish I could get the same clarity with aircraft

Magic.

Thanks for the info. I guess my next step is to stop babying my gear ;) (joke)

Further proof it's the 'nut behind the wheel, not the equipment' - well done.

Tks john. Honestly the 20D has gone off a motorbike seat & cracked itself open on concrete & the 30D has gone from over the shoulder to concrete at full speed & broken stuff off it. I tape them up ... file the bits that are protruding buy new bits. I run with them & the 400 mounted on the tripod... i wont get out of the rain with them...i clean everything with spit & a tee-shirt ('cept the sensors) I have thrown my tripod across a stream so i can swim it with the camera held out of water. Ive sealed them in plastic bags for shallow under water stuff. I will hold them in one hand & place them an inch off the tar on my motorbike. I am the torturer of camera equip.

I dont see the point in having a for sale ad reading 'for sale, low actuation's 20D, 6 years old & totally out of date with anything current but man o man...does it gleam on the mantle piece, in unmarked as new condition...but i didnt really get many photos with it because i was saving it to sell now for 180 bucks"

sorry...i will get off my horse now :D

haha - I hear ya - you should have heard the comments I got when I posted a pic of my 5D and 70-200 after they got a salt water spray while out whale watching.

What I have learned from that is to post the results of the shoot, not the by-product

Keep on keeping on, mate - love ya work
