So, I'm not much of a morning person but I decided to wake up one morning and try to get some shots of the sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather didn't quite co-operate with me, but I got some shots nonetheless.

I wrote about my pre-dawn adventure on my photo blog @ www.anvilimage.com (external link)

Nice shots, and good onya for getting up so early. A bit of distortion on the bridge pillar. What lens were you using?

I think that's a great idea. It looks like there wasn't much traffic.

Thanks for the comments!

deletedpenguin: I was using a Canon 24-105mm L f4 lens... The little bit of distortion is usually only only when it's around 24mm as this shot was, but it kinda bugs me. I was just being lazy and didn't straighten it. I've got a few minutes tonight maybe I'll fix and re-post.

I had to find something - it was too good. :p

It's a superb shot. Quite a lot of depth.

Ah, there you go! Where in the Bay Area are you? Before moving to Sydney, I was living in San Ramon.
