This is a really amazing lens. I can't believe just how sharp it is. I was bored at home on Thursday and decided to pull this thing out of it's case and play with it for a while.

Can't believe how few images there are in here for such a good lens. Recent one of my daughter playing. On 1DsII, wide open, with bounced flash:

Here are some with the lens mounted on a 1Ds2 and all are lit using the Sigma EM-140 DG macro flash gun.

All shots were taken within 15 feet of each other

One from today. It doesn't show in this shot, since I got rid of the color, but from the shots today, I continue to be blown away by the color, sharpness, bokeh and overall image quality of this lens, and I've had it over a year now . Still majorly impressive.

Took this this morning. I was out taking some shots of coneflowers, and saw this tiny spider had spun a web between two bushes. I aligned myself on the other side, and positioned the angle such that the coneflower was directly behind to serve as a background. Given that the flowers were 2-3 feet behind the spider, and there weren't many of them, this proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated. Still...I got the shot.

150mm, 1/200s, f/16 with flash
