Here's a few pictures of a personal favourite, the C-17 while it was performing at a demo here in Ontario. Not the greatest lighting, but it was a fun plane to watch.

Those things are massive, and the view from the cockpit while on the ground is amazing. Must be like trying to land a 3 or 4 story building.
Great shots, but you need to do some work on your watermark.

Good shots of it.

but you need to do some work on your watermark.

What do you think is wrong with it?

Saw the Globemaster in Germany a year ago. Monstrous, and a good capture of it's massiveness in the first shot (take off, quite a challenge).

Glad you're all enjoying the shots!

Andrew - I know exactly what you mean about the cockpit. I took the shots below pre-dslr life when I went for the media flight on the first one we purchased. The most impressive thing I have ever experienced with my clothes on was the short field take off we did, with a departure angle similar to the one shown above. :)

By-tor - thanks! Ugly? I wouldn't say so...she sure does have nice lines for a big wide body girl. :)

Wekkel - thanks! Unlike other shows I decided to hang out more at the edge of the spectator line where alot of turning and taking off was being done, which made capturing that moment a lot easier!
