I just figured I would give everybody here a heads up. I have listed my complete setup in the buy and sell section. Just figured it would get more exposure here.

I'll be back but I don't know when. Not leaving the forums completely so I'll still be around to check up on you guys!

Bobby

Feel for you. Think I may go crazy without the odd trip outside to look at the heavens. Kind of puts things into persepctive. I took my 7 year old outside a while back

"Jonathan, do you see that fuzzy shape in the viewfinder"
"Yes"
"Thats a galaxy"
"Wow"
"Do you realise that the light you are seeing has travelled for 5.4 million years to get here"
"How fars that, is it further than when we flew to Disneyland cos that seemed to take forever"

Love it!

Complete Setup in B&S

Due to issues with my back and lack of time I am selling off my complete setup in the Buy and Sell section. I'll be back when I can physically enjoy the hobby but right now it's sitting in my Obs. doing nothing. I'm not leaving POTN and will continue to post here from time to time. I just wanted to let you guys know as the Buy and Sell doesn't offer up much exposure.

Any questions send me a PM.

Thanks,

Bobby

That's a real shame...if I had a good few grand to spare (and wasn't "off" AP at the moment!) I'd take the lot of your hands and hold onto it for you until you recover.

Best of luck with that.

Tim.

Sorry to hear about your injury man. Hope you get better soon.

The 40D is tempting but I have to get the Field Flattener for my AP 130 and that is going to bust the astro-budget for a while.

Ron,

I had a 15' section of 10' tall stockade gate come down on me. Hit me in the back of the head and between the shoulders. 2 vertebrae suffered compression fractures, had some muscle damage and ligament damage. Not fun at all....I really don't want to sell everything but it's killing me to see it just sit.

Mark,

Why spend the money on the AP dedicated flattener? Are you using a full frame camera? I know the 2" At flattener easily covers a 5D with pinpoint stars to the edges with either my TMB 1300SS or the AT 140 f/6 I was/am testing. Just way too much money to me for very little difference in performance.

JMO :)

Tim,

Thanks Bud! Means a lot and it would be appreciated. I'll be back no doubt. Honestly I'm partially hoping it doesn't sell Lol.

Well, I am sort of AP dedicated. If I could afford a used AP MAK I would not have the TEC. ;)

Roland is a very close friend of mine. In fact, he and Marj are coming over to the house tomorrow to celebrate the 4th of July with us.

My children call him Uncle Roland.

Wholey cow Bobby. I'm so sorry to here about this terrible injury. I can't even begin to imagine the pain.

I know selling your gear has to be difficult, you are so talented in this hobby and it's been a pleasure seeing your awesome work. I pray that one day you can return to it when you are healthy again.

I'll take a look at your gear, I'm still in need of a flattener for the FS-60C but I'm not in a huge hurry seeing as how it's been many months since the weather cooperated during the two weekends a month worth going out for.

All my best my friend. Wishing you a swift recovery and great health ahead.
