My first L lens was the 70-200 f4/L. It is a fantastic lens and I still have it. I got it as a gift so I didn't have to sacrifice much to get it, but I still appreciate the build and (cost) of the L lens.

i got the canon 70-200 f/4 (non is), then the 17-40 f/4, and my next is gonna be either the 24L or 35L !!! its a sickness!!

Sickness indeed.

First DSLR (450D), 6 months later : 70-200f4 (non is) and a 580ex2.

ive got GAS. (gear accusition syndrome) Sadly, no cure exists. One method of treatment and it involves LOADS of money: just buy MORE!

Now im eyeing 5dii or hoping for a 1d iv.

Lenses 24-70 2.8 mark 2? (whem it comes out)

&& a ULTRA wide angle (14mm canon prime goodness?)

I bought my first dSLR in early 2004. I didn't buy an L lens until I upgraded to the 30d in 2006. I think I purchased a 70-200 f4 L around 5 mo's later. Then 4 mo's later a 17-40L. Just this week, I purchased a used 24-70L. Yep, its an addiction. I'm starting to eye primes.

Same for me. Picked it up a few months back and I've been pretty much only using this lense since.

Purchased my 5DMII six months ago, after using a 20D. Had some fast lenses before. Just purchased a 35L, my first L lens. It will not be my last. Although, it may be 12 months before I buy my next L, due to cost, and need. The 35L will be on the camera for a few weeks, though, before I put my 85mm or 135mm back on.

70-200 f4L. So great on APSC, it is a bit short on FF. And it's quality was so far better on APSC. My sharpest lens, after the uncategorized 85L :D

My first L (100-400) came in the B&H box along with my first DSLR (50D) this January so there was no waiting between one and the other.

Added the 70-200 f/4 IS when the recent rebates started.

Like them both along with the 10-22 EF-S.

300 F4L..with a canon 1.4 tc...for birding... I wouldn't want anything else. Easy to use, handle and I can do all without a mono or tri pod, one thing I was looking for when birding/hiking...

Mainly ANALOG..... but I still have a few digitals hanging around
