That would not surprise me in the least. I just know that this is the right move at this point. It's surprisingly not a financial decision either. Oh well. I think sometimes you need to miss something to appreciate what you had. I think that's what I'm going through.

I finally, finally, FINALLY have my 5D :D

The first one is from Saturday night, and the second is of Rainbow Falls, in Mammoth, CA. We were lucky to catch the rainbow, after we had hiked to the bottom, and then back up, the rainbow was gone.

Yes you will. I'd kill for 1-series AF but I don't care for the larger camera bodies.

I'm thinking you had to really work for these. Nice, especially like the Goat shot. ;)

Thanks, and ya, it was a bit of work :)

Wow! Great photos. You took these in Canada..? It looks like it could be Nepal or something. The one with the goat is my favorite.

haha, thanks. Ya, these were taken in southern BC, up at around 8000ft though. :)

Hello everyone!

New here! Just got my 5D used from a local, very nice photographer! So I got a very nice, clean, recently cleaned and and firmware upgraded! I am in heaven!

Took the camera for a spin yesterday at Pleasant Point on the Jersey Shore...mand I am happy I got this! Unreal! Now I need to save money for some "L" lenses but I must say that this Tamrom Zoom is sharp as I've seen! I'll try to post some pictures later.

Looking forward to learning from all of you! Is there a place I can do research on the settings? Like people's favorites, etc? I am still on page 40 of this thread!:D
