I couldn't decide where to post these images, but I suppose here is correct (see last shot)

Here are some gorgeous Orchids from this afternoon, it's a a shame the sun ducked behind a cloud as I got the gear out ..

As ever C&C alwas greatly appreciated.
All taken with 5DII and 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

Enjoy

Hi Rich

#1, #2, #6 & #7 are the best IMO - why? because again IMO orchids are very sculptural plants with some lovely details in either the petals and/or the central parts and benefit from a view and lighting that brings those features out. All the ones I note would I feel make good wall hangers and postcards/notelets.

Looks like a good effort paid off in the results :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm inspired to shoot more now, possibly going to Hampton Court Gardens today!

Rich, great shots. I agree with Laurence re which ones I like best. Are they all your orchids? Have got a couple at home and one is just about to flower and the second is not far behind. I really must get a macro lens and or extension tubes!
