It died due to a part not making connection to the battery. cannon repaired it, replaced the shutter box, adjusted the exposure and auto focus. I must say this is much,much better than it was. I think it's much better now than My 50D.

Wasn't so sure if I'd like to send my 40D/Xti in from all the down talk..they need a nice cleaning after fifteen months being deployed with me.
