Does my 1DmkIII need to be sent for the AF service?

I purchased my 1DmkIII two weeks back (serial number 561XXX) and it came with firmware 1.2.5.

Since firmware 1.2.5 and the AF Accuracy Adjustment service were announced around the same time, can I assume my 1D has the hardware fix since it has the latest firmware?

The AF service:

Service Notice: EOS-1D Mark III/EOS-1Ds Mark III: AF Accuracy Adjustment

Thanks.

Guys/gals, just call Canon, they keep records on the services performed on your serial number. 1-800-OK-Canon

Cool, I didn't know if the records were available via a phone call. Thanks!
