First wedding, relative noob to photography in general. Non paid, favor for a very good friend who were it not for me would have nothing other than whatever the guests took and gave them afterwards, so I figure it's good experience and PP experience. Shot mid day in bright sun. Please C&C and PP advice welcome.

What is a relative newb doing with a 5DmkII and all that nice glass?!?! ;)

These are some nice shots. Some could have benefitted from some fill flash and the flower girl looks a little blue, but I'm sure they will be pleased with these. They are much better than what they will see from the P&S crowd.

Thanks moeronn, I had my eye on the 5DII for several months, but the skill set didn't justify the purchase. A week before the wedding, my 40D started acting up. The info in the display went haywire and all of the LCDs lite up now and I have no shooting info as I look through the viewfinder. Kind of accellerated the purchase a bit. It's boxed up waiting for a trip to the Canon service dept. Just need the time....

Agreed on the flower girl. I will re-run the original Raw through PP and see if I can't sort that out.

Thanks again.

I think you did a great job & I'm sure the couple will greatly appreciate the images that you captured of their special day.

They look pretty good. The only thing I would comment on is that they are all a little to centered. And #3 could use a little fill-flash.I did the same thing my first wedding. It was tough to pay attention to my framing all the time with it being my first time and all. I was just trying to make sure I covered all the important moments. Looks like a nice place for a ceremony. Congrats on a job well done.
