Some recent shots. Only the first has any sort of tilt/shift going on, but it is still a fantastic regular 24mm prime.

All on the 1DsII.

Playing with reverse tilt.

Wow... these TS-E lenses seem to come into their own from an elevated view. These shots make the scenes look as though they are models. You don't seem to get the same visual illusion on any of landscape shots.

Niall

Oh yes...baby...now that hit's the spot. I'm a big fan of abused TS-e lenses and I'm also a big fan of Jags....I drive an XJ6 myself and once the Cat gets you...
The Toy Town aspect of this picture is just hitting my little boy toy car sensibilities too :-D

Here is a little example of tilt/shift adjustments in photoshop. I have the 24LII f/1.4 and often with architecture shots I run them thru photoshop CS3 with the lens correction filter. The following image was taken at Universal Orlando last weekend.

Just found a good deal on a used TS-E 24mm in the 'Marketplace' section. Took it out tonight to give it a whirl and it seems to be working great! I tried a tilt (swing) along the storefront getting the globes in focus. This is going to be so much fun!

Some very minor Shifting (Rise). Too much traffic kept me out of the middle of the road to avoid the pedestrian signal on the left of the image.

I just ordered the updated 24mm TS-E lens, is there ant issues with normal height filters or should I get the slim type UV filter?

Thanks,

Kevin

Thanks,

I have a 1.3 crop and can use normal filters without any problem, but I can't speak for full frame.

Here are a few I took the other week in Hyde Park.

It depends. I have the B+W XS-Pro UV filter on mine and for most shooting it doesn't vignette. However, in some tilt-shift settings, the lens without a filter will vignette, so obviously adding the filter makes it marginally worse. You could always take it off if it bothers you in those situations.
