While waiting for the Fireworks at Daytona Beach, My son and nephew were having a lightsaber battle and thought it would be a cool photo...

I basically focused on the ground in front of me with a wide angle lens (Canon 10-22). Manual exposure; bulb. f/11 and held for 7 seconds. ISO 100. The kids loved it.

Handheld? That's really clear for a handheld 7 sec exposure!

Shutter release held for 7 seconds. No worries. LOL. Handheld for 7 seconds this would be a mess unless I was a statue or dead.

Too funny.

This is awesome. For some inspiration, there are some great examples of light art/graffiti here (external link).

I am without a camera body at the moment. But as soon as my 30d makes it's way back to me, i am buying all the LED lights i can find :)

Time to get creative ;)

Awesome shot Doc

Nice site. My creative mind opened up and I'd like to try some different things I saw. I also have a few ideas myself....

Thanks,
Doc

Hey, this is pretty cool. I dig it. The blues and greens contrast well with the yellow of the hotel and city lights. What about cropping out the benches and trash cans that are on the left?
