Hi folks!

I'm looking at purchasing a lens from these guys. I checked resellerratings.com and all looks ok, but I wanted to get more feedback before I make the plunge.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Al

I've bought a few rather large ticket items from them (body & lens) and they were great.

I was very happy working with them when I ordered my XTi and a nifty to get me into photography. They were even willing to ship to an APO in Iraq and were one of the few retail stores that would do that for me.
The only problem I had was that I had to field a phone call pushing me to upgrade to a more expensive memory card before they would ship my camera.

Always happy to hear some critique

As to your OP, I've had nothing but problems with them. They have been discussed many times in the Market Watch forum and there's reports from both sides.

Consider asking a mod to move this to the Market Watch forum. You'll probably get more feedback there.

I just bought my t1i from them right before the 4th weekend and overnighted it ... Was there the next day - Do a google search on promo code for them too if you're ordering online - I think you can type in LOYALTY10 and get an extra $10bucks off... I cant remember what it was - but I think that was it...

I bought my 40D from them. I had to call and they wanted to sell me more stuff, but I was happy with what I ordered.

The battery only last 30 minutes and the ones they sell cost $70... Other than that, I got it at a great price with no other complaints.

Never bought online from them but have browsed their B&M store in central Jersey -- definitely legit.

I bought a 580EXII from them earlier this year with no problems. They did call and try to sell me rechargeable batteries for it but I declined and they weren't pushy about it. Beach Camera is still my first choice, but if they didn't have something that Abe's did I would buy from Abe's again.

I purchase a remote for my Zoom H4n (used for audio with 5D MkII). They had the lowest price and one of the few that had it in stock. I placed the order and it arrived the next day. I had a great experience and would use them again. :D
