A bit of a contrast from the previous model. I saw this old woman praying beside a cathedral and I wanted the shot. I don't have a long lens so I asked her and she obliged :)

I really like this one, esp the B&W.

Like any normal person shopping I was carrying my camera and just so happened to have a 70-200mm lens on me to. How lucky?

I'm not into people photography really but this guy I HAD to shoot. If a face can tell a story then this guy's face can tell an library full of stories. Really nice bloke to talk to and a pleasure to shoot.

Fact is I think this is my first ever portrait.

CC welcome.

I would like to see more of his chin and the top of his head. Don't cut them off. Otherwise, very, very interesting portrait.

Last night I posted 2 pics from a dance/theatre. Today I will post the place that this events take place.. Its a 200 year old house. Roumor say haunted.. I say its beautiful. The local goverment bought it few years ago and they make concerts, cinema, cafe, museum.. totally free for the visitors. It is an art house for all. Enjoy it :) . All this shots taken with 17-40L, 100 iso and tripod.

Would be better if the eyes were more in focus. Always try to focus on the eyes. That's at least what I look at first.

What lens?

I shot this w/o looking at the viewfinder. I was using the 24-105

Rather than start a new thread for my new camera, I figured I would just chime in here. HOLY FN &%*$#$# this thing is cool! And, per tradition, a duck shot:

I have never bothered to install any of Canon's software. I've always regarded it as crap. At least on the Mac. I just drag/drop and the files are always fine that way. Not sure why yours are giving you problems Blitz?

5Dm2 video files are VERY intensive for most computers - is your machine up to snuff?

Right, I gave it another go and it isn't working. Most videos I can drag/drop to desktop just fine, but for a few the progress bar opens and then, uh, never progresses. Then it closes and I'm left with a movie file that's 0 bytes in size.

When I open EOS Utility only the last of the four icons ("Monitor Folder") can be clicked on. The other three (one of which would allow me to select and download images) are dim an cannot be clicked on. What am I doing wrong?

Here's a couple from last weekend...

I personally love the first one, when she saw it she loved it and said "Typical Girl" :-)

Both taken with my 24-105 f/4L
