NO, its about manual lenses that CAN be used on a Canon. Pentax K lenses can be used on Canons.

O I C....

So, it would be okay to post my Olympus camera with a Zeiss lens shots?

yes. Like tkbslc said, if the lens will work on canon cameras, it's okay to showcase it here in case someone is interested in trying it on their camera.

Aren't the posts supposed to be with lenses on Canon cameras?

Not to knock Canon lenses or AF, but I get a sense of satisfaction of getting the shot on my own, without AF, without shotgunning a sequence for one shot, even without AE...
and when I found out I could use my MF Nikkors on the Canon, which I prefer over Nikon bods, I was back in heaven again...

My free, beat-up, rikenon 50mm 1.4 EE took this for me tonight. I am pretty impressed with this lens and will use it at f1.4 without hesitation. If does have a CA Problem at f1.4 and it only has whole aperture stops, so it is not perfect, though.

ISO 800, 1/200, f1.4, MF using liveview

Shot with my old hand-me-down 200mm Bushnell F3.5 lens. M42 mount adapted to my 40D. I'm really surprised how sharp this old lens is. It has a bit of CA at the wide end but nothing too serious.

Very nice shot there. Lovely blues.

I just picked up a 1D2 today, first shots out of it with the 50mm on. Hopefully I'll have time to venture out of the house in the next few days.

Nothing quite spetacular as some of the shots in here but this one was done on a boring Saturday afternoon while doing some chores around the place. This was taken on my Canon 50D with a generic adapter I bought off of Ebay. The lens is an older Soligor 28mm 2.8 Wide Auto set to manual. Again nothing special but I do enjoy messing around with these older lenses.

My small contribution:
This was taken today, with my Nikkor 500 ED f/4 P plus a Nikon Tcon 1.4X, on a 5D. Below, the 100% crop.

The really cool U-505 War Memorial, Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry.

Haven't seen it since childhood. It's now in a Memorial Exhibit, enclosed in a replica Submarine Pen!

(they no longer allow photos inside the U-Boat, people were taking pics and trying to sell them online :( )

Olympus E-420, ISO 1600, 1/40, f2.8, 25mm (50mm equiv), Carl Zeiss Distagon T* (how appropriate is that?), Fotodiox Nikon-F to Olympus 4/3 Adapter :D

Earth Revealed Exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.

A spherical screen and projectors project planet surfaces on it - way cool!
