Sorry, it's a program, not a feature of the G9. I used AEB (auto exposure bracketing) and then merged them using the trueHDR feature of the program. I used Av mode to set f4.5 and ISO 80, then let the camera set the three shutter speeds. The program also offers two other merge features; Smart Merge and Image Stacking. I preferred the trueHDR results for this one.
