Both shots are of Thomas Vanelslander, a pretty great session guitarist who brings a lot of creativity and energy to the bands he plays with/for.

George Thorogood July 2009.
Because they`re the only artist photos I have and it`s my first concert in 34 years... Last time was Pink Floyd in Chicago 1975.

No one else was allowed to bring in a camera, but I was because I asked before I bought my tickets....

John Connolly, Sevendust. Mainly because he was in front of me the whole night and he was awesome! Plus, he handed me a couple of picks after the show :) Also, I love the tribute to Dimebag on his guitar.

Not my best, but definitely my favorite. I took this one a few years ago with my Powershot S45, and it's the shot that started it all. It got me into photography and that's when I decided to get a DSLR :D

Shot Mayhem Fest this weekend and while Slayer's lights were primarily shades of red there was one "aahhhhh" moment when the lights were great. Tried to make the most of it shooting over, under, and around the heads of the about 40 photographers at the show.

^ Very nice! Go Kerry! Unfortunately I'm going to be missing their show with Megadeth this year! Spewing!

This is my friend Tom, in his postrock band called "sleepmakeswaves".

Brett Garsed. Still getting the hang of live music shots. The lights were pretty bad but this is my favourite shot so far.

i know most will not care for this shot (motion blur seems to be about as popular as Hitler youth buttons around here), but i dig it quite a bit.
