I bought a used G9 this week to accompany my existing kit. I work in London; so miss many great photo opportunities (candid; scenics, etc). Will be looking to have the G9 with me now on a daily basis, :).

Obviously noisy as indoors.

Actually very impressed with the G9; haven't really experienced shutter lag.

now what can i buy next...............

The G9's macro is brilliant.

I took this yesterday whilst in the garden watching the Bees feed off the lavender

Thank you, I was quite pleased with it as it's the first time I'd really adjusted the flash out put to get the capture perfect.

do you have a separate flash? or are you using the on camera flash? I bought the g9 as a walk about while at work in London, also to use the ebay triggers for the 580EX II flash that i have. the results are very nice and surprising for a little compact.

I'm just using the onboard flash sevsuk and changing the flash exp comp and shutter curtain. It's a great camera for London, in fact I went to London yesterday (O2 body world exibition) and snapped these...

I used the colour accent for this one.

Whilst waiting for the train I played around a little with exposure times and slow synchro, there are more example on my Flickr account

A night time shot of the O2 building whilst on the boat waiting to leave hand held with an exposure time of 2 seconds!! I was very pleased that it came out like this..

Great Shots Guys!!!

I've never shot macro on my G cams. Always using it for candids and people at parties. Looks like it's time to go frog and bug hunting with my 5 year old:)

Very cools shots, for sure. I have to wonder if folks reading other threads ever stop by to see what these little cams are capable of. Never ceases to amaze me, the pics you guys are getting out of them! Great job

J
