This weekend I visited Paradise... literally. It was hard to take in all the beauty that was around. The meadows were packed with wildflowers and it seemed you could get a good shot in any direction you looked.
Here are a few of my favorites.

Wonderfully muted colours, any problems with dew on your camera ? I'm assuming you took the shots early in the morning ?

Thanks! All of these were taken with a Canon 5D2 and 17-40L. I had it set to aperture priority mode for all of these with f/16 and the corresponding shutter speed. There was a bit of a breeze every once in awhile so I had to shoot at ISO 200-400 to freeze the flowers but when it was still I shot at ISO 50.

Yes, these were all taken around sunrise. Luckly I didn't get any dew on my lens but the LCD screen was fogged over the whole time so I couldn't really see what i was getting.

The mountain is Mt. Rainier. These shots were all taken along the Dead Horse Creek trail which started at the Paradise Visitor's Center.

Great shots. I was there a few years ago climbing and the fog covered everything. It's hard to believe that it can hide Mt. Rainier in just a few seconds. It looks like the upper moutain was clear from the pics. Did you venture further up toward Camp Muir?

Great shots. I've been there many times and found the Paradise area to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
