If AAFES has the lens andanother store has it cheaper, they will pricematch. I just bought a 70-200 F4 L and after price matching/discounts got it for $534. Originally $669, pricematched with AMAZON.com down to $600 and then used a discount code to get it down to $534. Free shipping to my APO address, complete, well packed an no hassle. If they have the lens on the AAFES website, it's worth a try to pricematch.

That's not the experience I've had when dealing with them on the phone...that's awesome though!

It may have something to do with being overseas and Amazon or something. Ironically though, Amazon won't ship electronics toAPO addresses.

My 5D2 cost me $2066 with free ship and no tax via AAFES.com website; wish they stocked more stuff.
