SO I found a sears Auto 28mm f2.8. It's made by Ricoh. Super solid and smooth feel. Not stellar at f2.8 bummer. Fine to great at f5.6 and up. Here's one from a car show on my Pentax K100D 6mp DSLR. I do LOVE the 42mm focal length it simulates on the 1.5x crop K100D. Bodies: SONY A850 / Pentax K100D / D70 (18-55VR, 55-200)

I'm using a Leica 50mm R on my 5dmk2 right now with the AF confirmation chip adaptor...it's pretty good, but still a chore to focus at times to get it just right. I've heard that replacing the focusing screen is a better choice, line up the image in circle in the viewfinder and the subject is in focus...Anyone using replacement focusing screens with their MF lenses? Thanks so much, lovely pics on this thread; simply awesome! The optional MF focusing screen is a definite improvement over the stock screen...but still not as nice as pre-AF focusing screens on 35mm cameras.
