slower shutter speed would have been much better, but the pics are great otherwise.

Agreed. But very difficult to do when I shoot air to air.

Thanks for the nice comments. Here is a shot I took from the ground using a more typical shutter speed when I shoot props. Unfortunately I can't always slow the shutter down that much when I'm in a moving, and sometimes bumpy, airplane. And those big radials don't spin up much RPM which makes it even harder to get prop blur when shooting air to air.

By the way, that B-24 is the only one flying in the world! There are others in existence but they are tucked away in museums.

Nice work Stan.

How exactly does one get to do an A2A session with Collings?

The CAF also has a flying B24, "Ol 927" which is based at Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, Texas (Just north of Dallas). "Ol 927" was originally supposed to go to England during WWII, but had an accident and ended up staying in the US flying for Consolidated carrying freight and VIP's. After the war it ended up with PEMEX the Mexico oil company, then returned to the States and the CAF flew it for many years as "Diamond Lil". It was converted back to a B24A a couple of years ago @ Midland, moved to Addison last year.
A few photos from Wings Over Houston last fall.

IIRC, Kermit Weeks also has one at Fantasy of Flight but from what I've read, it's a bit of a Hangar Queen and rarely if ever flies.
