Best Portrait Lenses

I swear by this 2 lbs brick I strap on my camera any chance I get. Its slow to focus, stupidly expensive, has only one switch, and has no feel to the focus, and cant be stopped beyond f16, but it absolutley kicks fkn ass any time i use it and its called a 85L 1.2

I really like the 24-70 2.8L for portraits on a cropped body

24-70 was my bread and butter lens when I shot canon.
Though since switching, the 35 and 50mm focal lengths have become my primary lenses.

both these with a 50mm...just gotta use your feet moar

On 1.6X crop - 50 1.4 or 85 1.8.

On FF - 100 f/2, or my favorite the 200 2.8.

Even my Sigma 105 is a very nice portrait lens on FF.

I like the 85LII on a crop and FF.
