Ooh Toronto Island! I just got back from a round of disc golf there :)

Great shots -- I particularly like the panorama.

Sure Mstar, these are from a previous trip during Winter. I still haven't upload my recent ones. I will soon.

I'll post my recent ones soon.

Oh The Rover, thanks. I posted there before I posted in here and still didn't receive a response. But it's OK, I worked things out on my own.

Nice shots Ryan.

First two are classic shots, but the third one is original and I love it!

Here's two more from my trip. Sim, I loved Toronto Island- the view is world class and so many opportunities.

Now, I was driving down a road, when I saw this game being played. Do you recognize it?

Thanks guys,

I'll post some shots once I process them. My friend wanted to do this crazy portage to see these old white pine trees in Algonquin. I like trees and the pines were cool and all, but what an effort to get there just for a day trip. Im totally knackered.

As Mstar said that third shot of yours, Ryan is really cool. Id be happy with that on my wall.

I hope you enjoyed your trip Mstar. You did a good cross-section of southern Ontario it sounds like. Did you manage to get to that pow wow? How did you find it?

I did see quite a bit of Ontario, at least in the reasonably accessible areas! Well, 4 hrs from Toronto. I looked at my road map, boy, you have some vast space in the north and few roads.

I did find the pow pow. I took a video or two with my moby and I really liked the sound they were making. I enjoyed the visit and everyone was very friendly. There were a few photographic rules to follow, like asking if it was ok to take a photo, which was fine. Loved the colours. Did not understand why some aboriginals were mainly red, some mainly yellow, some blue. Only stayed for two hours, as it was extremely hot, maybe 38C? It was hot!

So anyone else buy into the 7D? :) I'm missing my Mk3 less now knowing the 7D is on the way soon.

Nah, not much of a draw for me. But I think it's a great addition to the lineup for people looking for better AF and, of course, higher FPS.

I am getting a 7D to replace my 50D as backup body , but also as my main action shot / long range camera.

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)

Oh yeah that one too... The MTF charts look promising, cannot wait for people to start posting out of camera samples. If the regular 100 mm f2.8 Macro one of the sharpest lens in the Canon lineup (the 135mm f2L is crazy sharp too), this new Canon EF 100mm F2.8L USM will possible become "THE SHARPEST" lens of them all. I was about to buy an 85mm 1.8 or 100mm f2 lens for portraiture, but this lens may put me on a hold now (I had the 100 macro before and it was sick for portraits, just a tad long on crop bodies but now that I got FF, I want it back).
