not doing it for me at all. you have to rethink your composition, your light, your poses... everything. it is in focus and that's a good thing.

don't really care if it does it for you....thats pretty rude.."It's in focus". Don't even post if you're just gonna be an @$S

if you don't care - don't post. If you post - expect critique. If you get crtiqued - suck it up and do better next time. Just trying to help you to imprive your work.
And about being an ass.... so far only yours truly cared enough about this work of yours to type something. Care to say thanks? I thought so.

im going to have to agree with korrektor here... Her pose does not seem natural nor comfortable.. the look in her eyes says it all. Id clean up on her left leg alittle.. there is some stuff or a scrape or something... also as far as the pose goes... assuming she is a body builder, this pose does nothing for that as well.

I'll try to be gentler but I have to agree that the post doesn't do this lady's beauty justice. She just looks uncomfortable, and that doesn't make for a good portrait in my humble opinion. Let her relax and find a comfortable pose, and she will give you some great images, as she is a beautiful woman.

I'm sorry, I have to agree with the others... The pose isn't a very flattering one for her, and on my monitor, she looks very "orange-y".
Also, The position of the right arm makes her look like an amputee.
Unfortunately, when you post a picture fo critique, you have to be open for it...whether it's good or bad. I've been blown to shreds on here... but it's made me want to come back with an even better shot next time!
We're here to learn from others, and if we can't take critique, then we'll never grow as artists.
Korrector is a great photog on here, so any feedback that he would give to me, I would take in right away....good or bad. Sometimes we just need it straight to get the point across... he does it that way, and he's usually right.

id like to see a more shallow depth of field here. maybe use a longer focal length.
I also dont like the wall stopping halfway through her head, it is a bit distracting in my opinion

yeah but I haven't seen a brick wall at anybodybuilding shows.. the location does not correspond with the subject. This photo looks like a random snap shot of a toned woman who decided to pose for a second.

pictures of her at the beach would be nice

I think there was a lot of potential -- but I have agree with korrektor on this.
Do not take this personal -- I take tons of shots and hit myself afterwards - because I did not see something until after I review the photo on my computer - or what I wanted to convey in the photo simply did not work.

Here is how I see this situation being a successful image - first I would have shot her straight on - or straight on against the brick wall -- have her bend down a bit so you cannot see the top of the wall -- pull her out 10 feet or so from the wall -- shot it with a lens and aperture to blur out the background a tad - so she was the focus point but the wall offered some cool rough texture.
