Troubles with slideshow using Nero 9

Not sure if this is right section, if not, feel free to move.

Ive been trying to use Nero Vision, in Nero 9, to make a photo slideshow. Everything goes good, till I preview it. Its making all my pictures blurry Anyone have any idea why this is?

Ive contacted Nero, and they sent me this huge list of questions I need to answer, which I will later when I get home, but was wondering if anyone has expeirenced this before?

Video is 640/720 pixels by 480, no photo is going to look great re-sized to that. Its one of the prices to pay until you move to HD at 1920*1080, you get a lot more pixels to fill so any photos will look a lot better.

Nero support wrote me back saying the jpegs are being transcoded to mpg1 or 2, so thats part of the problem. Im not quite sure I understand what you are saying about moving to HD. I got it to work where only 2 photo's being loaded in would look fine, but adding more after that would turn them blurry.

Is there another program I can use to make slideshows that are burnable to cd/dvd and able to be played on dvd players, or at least computers?
