It's a rear-wheel-drive-converted tC, with funding from Scion. Just started a thread with about 10 shots from the event.

And here I thought that was only popular in the US :) Nice work. :)

Thanks. It seems to grow in Norway every year. Last year the European Championship was held at the same track.

Very nice. What SP do you shoot NASCAR at? Those must be doing 160+mph and you're perpendicular the car. With Formula D you have to shoot down around 1/60th. I'd imagine NASCAR is somewhere around 1/100th?

Thanks! The top image (Kasey Kahne's car) was shot at 1/200, Earnhardt's car was at 1/250. I had been playing with a range of speeds, from 1/60 to 1/400, and even at that higher speed, I was able to get decent blur on the wheels and background:

This was my best one from the Hot Moves drift event at Englishtown Raceway. It was my first event with a dslr and I was pretty ambitious with my shutter speeds.

Haha that's not dissimilar from what I was doing at Formula Drift in Jersey. It was my first drifting event and I got started at 1/50th. I ended up being able to handle a 50th by the end of the day but it took a little practice. Not bad at all for 1/20th!
