Of course my brushes won't quite reach the canvas fully and I'll probably use too much thinner which will keep my brush strokes from being sharp. ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't forget to buy "L" brushes, and make sure they have the RED stripe on them! Photographers do it in 1/1,000th of a second...but the memory lasts forever!

I was just testing my 7D on typical moving target that we had as a MKIII test subject for its AF issues. The MKIII had no problems at all, in a burst, 100% were all in focus, but the 7D is only resulting in about a 20% keeper rate. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

It's clear as day that the issue is total user error. First, all modern focus systems need a high contrast edge to pull in the focus. It's clear from the pic that all 19 of the focus points are tracking the low contrast sand. Second, I see that your from Indiana so clearly the is a Lake Michigan fresh water sea turtle and thus an endangered species. Viewing the EXIF data I noticed that you did not have the camera in "Endangered spiecies mode" Canon purpously defocuses the camera whenever an endangered species is photographed making it harder for illegal traders to identify the location thus saving the turtle. It's a new feature, a spin off of face detection so I'm not surprised you did not know about it. Lastly, it is a federal offense to even photograph the Indiana Dunes lake turtle when it is making a mad dash across the sand on it's way to the hot dog stand that I know is right behind you. Agents will be visiting you shortly I'm sure. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Not a single one was able to track, I think they were all arguing who would get focus, and since they are all equal, none of them were in focus. I hate quarrelsome AF points, they never seem to get along. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery
