Nice light and capture, but your Eiffel tower seems to be migrating to Pisa (it's got a little over 1 degree lean).

I think it's been fixed. I always seem to forget about level horizons until I see the pic on the computer - thank goodness for "image rotation" !

Funny, I just realized today that the XSi does not have face recognition for focus.

For 2 or more people in a photo - what do you guys do for focus - manual and hope for the best?

I don't take a lot of group photos but FWIW - using a smaller aperture like f8 or higher helps for getting a wider depth of field for getting everyone in focus and (depending on the light) a higher f number may require a good flash.
