A mature female Phiddipus clarus searching for prey. Cropped and reduced from original. Canon 40D, MP-E65 and MT-24 flash. Note: she has lost one of her front facing eyes.

SHe was a very cooperative little jumper. I did a long series of images in which just about every one was a keeper. She did like to jump on my finger every now and then :cool: Kudos to Canon for making such wonderful macro gear!
