Can't wait for a 450D hack

I second the 450D hack! It's great work.

It's taken quite a while for the 400D hack compared to when the 400D was released so i'm just wondering that if the 450D hack happens, will it take as long? I really hope not but i would just be grateful for the hack when ever it happens.

Personally I'd like to see it as a flashable firmware rather than on the card. Just simply because not formatting your card can leave to corrupt images eventually. I guess you could have one card just for 3200 ISO goodness and you could use others for normal shooting and format them as normal. Look at me, got it all planned and no hack yet

this one allows for the selection of more focus patterns (42 total i believe) -- i.e. top 3 focus points, left 3, inner 5, diagonal, etc etc.

Just replace the other autoexec.bin with the one in the link posted by porky. Make sure to format the cf card first. That's it.

do you have a laptop and a pcmcia adapter? that's how i did mine.

it seems like you wont be able to read/modify all the contents of the card by connecting it via the camera. granted, i don't have eos utilities installed, so i don't know if that makes a difference

have a laptop, but don't know what a pcmcia adapter is. Laptop is several years old.

I like my old XTi, but ISO3200 images from it might not be onsidered "goodness".

Someone here already mentioned that grainy images are better than no images at all.
