Hey, I just recently purchased a Canon Rebel XS and is wanting to get into photography. I have posted a blog, please take a look and give me some comments and criticism. As you can see, I am nowhere near good...

You off to a good start.
I would say that one of the most important things is knowing how your camera works.
I feel I get the most of my camera shooting in manual mode, so knowing, what different apertures do, at different speeds is a plus.
