It should have sony upset! Just check out 7D vs. a850 at iso6400 on imaging resource! 7D ha as much resolution and less noise with 40% of the image sensor area of the a850.

Giving people all those 1 series features in a non 1 series is awesome, especially for the price. The only 1 series owners that should be upset are the 1Dii/1Dii'N' guys because it's going to kill their resale... But the next 1 series will surely smoke the 7D so that won't be an issue (either less MP and more ISOs or the same MP and better/more ISO in a pro body, I'm also betting FF). My Gear List

You're right. It's almost as if some of the posters here are angry at people for not being completely thrilled with the new 7D. Disappointment I can understand.
