They have a blue cast to them. This may be intentional. If it is, I think it needs something else added to the PP to make it work. As they are they just look like a bad color cast. Other than that I think it was a good session!

i usually shoot warm and i wanted to try cooling this set. i think they're at 4100k. that seemed to be about the right temp without cooling the skin tones too much. i'm not sure how else to process them but i'll try some things out! thanks for the crit!

with 6 i was playing with the warm and cool tones. i like to use the color difference to create contrast. so i pushed the cooler tones on the left and the warmer tones on the right a little. the original image wasn't as dynamic.

No 7 is kinda cool.
I have to say the purse looks more like a suitcase ??? that is not a crit just a man's point of view can't understand why women would want to carry that large a bag. :D

I am really into cross processing right now. That leaves a color cast as well. But it usually means contrast is also boosted. Try just to bring up the black point and brign down the white point... in other words do NOT do it with the contrast slider. Another thought is to make the color cast just a tiny bit stronger. But use a low opacity eraser to lighten the cast on the skin. I would start with a 50% brush and see if it needs to be stronger or weaker of a bruch.

5 through 7 are very nice, they are all a bit cool though, try warming up the white balance...you might like it?

i said the same thing about that huge bag!

Mark1... thanks for the tips! i'll try that out. I actually took a look at this thread on another computer and noticed that the shots are much more blue than on my mac. that's probably something i need to look into... must be my monitor calibration.

here's another edit of #7 per Mark1's suggestions.

IMAGE: http://www.puckybot.com/images/VictoriaNiro-bags-EDIT01.jpg

i raised the black point a little and lower the white point not as much. Then i added 2 Photo Filter adjustment layers... one for warming and cooling. I used the cool one over the enter scene and painted out the skin areas. With the warm layer i inverted the mask and only painted on the skin tones.

The result is less contrasty in overall values but a little more contrasty as far color tones go.
