I gotta tell ya, being a Jerseyan most of my life I was very proud of this past w/e's AMA round that was held for the first time at the NJMP facility. This facility has only been open for a little over a yr now and considering it's road racing youth in terms of running an event it did FANTASTIC!

It was the largest event covered from BOTH orgs, AMA announced it was the most crowdest event of their season and NJMP also stated it was easily the largest event they've covered to date (the other larger event covered there is the ROLEX series).

Anyhow, being the motorcycle road racing fanatic that I am, I was very proud to FINALLY see road racing in it's truest form right here in the Garden State!

Im still in post processing mode so I'll add a few from the Daytona SBK and SuperSport later on.

Here's a few from the American SBK class:

1) Ben Bostrom

Thnx for the nice comments!

I'd say 99% of the shots were taken on a monopod while using my 300MM(1.4x combo).

Wow! Fantastic shots! #3 is poster-worthy. And WTF, I didn't know Michael Jordan sponsored a racing team!

[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]

Actually, sportbikes have been a passion of Michael Jordan's for a very long time, however, due to his chosen profession he wasnt allowed to engage in high risk sports. My buddies and I met his first crew and rider (Montez Stewart) down at Daytona back in '04 iirc. They were racing beater bikes during the CCS racing event we were racing in, they told us to keep an ear out for the following w/e, it was gonna make big news in the racing world. Low and behold, Jordan MS was introduced! The team has grown considerably since then.

Thnx again folks, feel free to click on my site to see more of the same. :D
